Leading Perth Endovascular specialist Dr Sanjay Nadkarni opened South West Vascular Service at 1 Henley Drive in Bunbury in July 2025. This is a vascular consultation service offered every Friday.
Dr Nadkarni has over 20 years experience and has completed over 10,000 procedures. He has held a consultancy position with Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital since 2002 and has worked with Mount Hospital, Perth and St John of God in Bunbury. He holds an academic title as Clinical Associate Professor with Curtin University.
Public and private patients are welcome.

Vein Treatments & Consultancy Services
Our Vascular specialist, Dr Sanjay Nadkarni, will be in Bunbury every Friday for vein consultations. If a vascular procedure is needed, you will need to travel to our Wembley clinic for that procedure. Oor comprehensive vascular services in Wembley include:
- Ambulatory Phlebectomy – involves the removal of varicose veins through small incisions in the skin. It is a minor surgical procedure performed using local anaesthetic. The patient can return to normal activities within 24-48 hours.
- Endovenous Laser Therapy Ablation (EVLT or EVLA) – usually performed under local anaesthesia and utilises a laser fibre to close the varicose vein from the inside.
- Foam Sclerotherapy – involves injecting a chemical agent (a sclerosant) to induce blood vessel scarring and closure.
- Micro Sclerotherapy – used to treat the surface veins visible on the skin referred to as reticular veins and telangiectasias.
